Defulx
Deflux is a gel that is used in endoscopic injections to treat VUR (Vesicoureteral reflux) which occurs when the valve between the ureters and the bladder is not working properly. It should operate as a one-way valve. Instead, it operates as a two-way valve and can allow urine in the bladder to flow backwards (reflux) into one or both ureters and kidneys. What is Deflux®? Deflux is the material that the surgeon injects around the ureter opening to create a valve function and stop urine from flowing back up the ureter. Deflux consists of two types of sugar-based molecules and hyaluronic acid. Both substances are well-known from previous uses in medicine. Why choosing Deflux®? Endoscopic injection of DEFLUX is quick, safe, highly effective and provides immediate results. Deflux materials are biocompatible, which means that they do not cause significant reactions within the body. In fact, hyaluronic acid is produced and found naturally within the body. How is Deflux® presented? Deflux is a gel that is used in endoscopic injections to treat VUR.
